This kit is a full set of Thermacut consumables for FineCut at 45A. It suits Hypertherm Duramax torches on Powermax 65, 85 and 105.

Common questions about the T-DMXKITFC kit

Which Powermax machines does this kit fit?

It fits the Powermax 65, 85 and 105 with a Duramax hand or machine torch, for FineCut at 45A. It doesn't suit Powermax SYNC systems (they use one-piece cartridges), the original Powermax45 or the Powermax30.

Which kit do I need?

It depends on your amperage, torch and job. For cutting, there are hand and machine kits at 65A (65A Hand Torch Kit T-DMXKIT65H and 65A Machine Torch Kit T-DMXKIT65M), 85A (85A Hand Torch Kit T-DMXKIT85H and 85A Machine Torch Kit T-DMXKIT85M) and 105A (105A Hand Torch Kit T-DMXKIT105H and 105A Machine Torch Kit T-DMXKIT105M), plus a 45A machine kit (45A Machine Torch Kit T-DMXKIT45M). For gouging, use 65/85A Gouging Kit T-DMXKIT6585HG at 65 or 85A and 105A Gouging Kit T-DMXKIT105HG at 105A. For thin sheet, use this kit.

Does this kit work with an ohmic table?

No, it has the standard cap and deflector. For ohmic FineCut, use 220948 FineCut Ohmic Shield 45A T-12014 with 220953 Ohmic Retaining Cap 45/65/85A T-11931. The nozzles, swirl ring and electrodes in this kit are the same.

Can I use another swirl ring for FineCut?

Yes. 220857 Swirl Ring 10–85A T-11861 or 220994 Swirl Ring 105A T-11930 can also be used, but the FineCut swirl ring in this kit, 220947 FineCut Swirl Ring 45A T-12015, gives the best cut quality.
