Thermacut T-11404 shield for machine torches replaces Hypertherm 220817

This part replaces Hypertherm 220817-UR. It's Thermacut T-11404, a 45/65/85A shield for Hypertherm Duramax machine torches on the Powermax 65, 85 and 105. Sold each.

Does T-11404 replace Hypertherm 220817?

Yes. T-11404 is the Thermacut replacement for Hypertherm 220817-UR, the 45/65/85A shield for Duramax machine torches.

Which shield do I need?

It depends on your torch, amperage and job. For cutting at 45, 65 and 85A, use 220818 Shield for Hand Torch 45/65/85A T-11406 on a hand torch or this shield on a machine torch. At 105A, use 220992 Shield for Hand Torch 105A T-11841 on a hand torch or 220993 Shield for Machine Torch 105A T-11842 on a machine torch. For gouging, use 220798 Gouging Shield 65/85/105A T-12022, and for FineCut on an ohmic table, 220948 FineCut Ohmic Shield 45A T-12014.

Which Powermax machines does this shield fit?

It fits the Powermax 65, 85 and 105 with a Duramax machine torch. It doesn't suit Powermax SYNC systems (they use one-piece cartridges), the original Powermax45 or the Powermax30.
