DESCRIPTION:

Chemtools Mitrestick Instant High-Strength Bonding Kit by Rapdistick is a two-component system designed for fast and reliable bonding of various materials. It includes an ethyl cyanoacrylate adhesive for excellent bonding strength and a sprayable activator.
The bonding accelerator included in the kit accelerates the rate of cure, dramatically reducing mitre assembly bonding times from several minutes to approximately 10 to 15 seconds. It allows for a more secure bond, guaranteeing proper cohesion and preventing adhesive absorption into porous substrates.
Mitrestick instant high-strength bonding kit is recommended for use in low temperatures or in conditions of low air moisture

APPLICATIONS:

• Surface Preparation:  Ensure surfaces to be bonded are clean, dry and free from dust and other contaminants. Where possible, roughen smooth surfaces to improve adhesion.
• Non-porous Surfaces: Apply a thick, single bead of adhesive to one surface, and spray the activator onto the other surface without over-soaking. Press joints together and hold for up to 10seconds to secure the bond and allow the chemical reaction between the activator and adhesive to take place.
• Porous Surfaces: Due to surface porosity, it is recommended to apply the adhesive to one surface, then spray the activator directly over the adhesive on the same surface. This method allows the chemical reaction between the activator and adhesive to take place immediately, rather than the porous surface absorbing the activator before the joints meet.

Note: If porous surface bonding is unsuccessful on the first attempt, reapply following a delay of more than 45 seconds from the previous application

FIRST AID & SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:

Always refer to the safety data sheet before use. Use proper personal protective equipment. Do not get in the eyes, on the skin or on the clothing. It should not be used, stored or transported until the handling precautions and recommendations as stated in the safety data sheet for this product have been fully understood by all persons who will work with the material.

STORAGE & TRANSPORT: 

As a general precaution, keep containers tightly closed, protect from sunlight, and do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50°C. Do not return any unused material to its original container.
