DESCRIPTION:

POLINOX mounted grinding wheels consist of non-woven polyamide abrasive, into which abrasive  grain is integrated. The non-woven abrasive flaps are arranged radially. A long tool life is achieved through the dense packing of the flaps. The tool is particularly used for surface work.

FEATURES:

• Highly flexible, enabling optimal adjustment to the contour.
• Cool grinding and low thermal load on the workpiece.
• The open structure and high flexibility of non-woven materials prevent tool clogging.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE:

For the best results, use at a recommended cutting speed of 10-20m/s. This provides an ideal compromise between stock removal rate, surface quality, thermal load on the workpiece and tool wear.

SAFETY NOTES:

• The maximum permitted peripheral speed is 32m/s.
• For safety reasons, the maximum permitted rotational speed indicated must never be exceeded.
