DESCRIPTION:

Kobe TGX 309L stainless steel TIG welding rod is a flux-cored TIG filler engineered for single-sided root pass welding without back shielding gas, producing slag-protected reverse beads and excellent fusion quality. It is designed for welding 23%Cr-12%Ni stainless steels and dissimilar joins where robust weld integrity and oxidation control are critical.

FEATURES:

• AWS A5.22 R309LT1-5 classification.
• Flux-cored stainless TIG rod eliminating teh need for back purging on root passes.
• Protective slag system shielding the reverse bead from atmospheric oxidation.
• Suitable for welding 309L stainless steel and related 300 series alloys.
• Well-suited for joining dissimilar stainless and ferritic steels.
