DESCRIPTION:

Pferd tools fibre discs are manufactured in accordance with ISO 16057 in shape A2 version F under the designation "vulcanised fibre disc". For general grinding work from coarse to fine grinding in industry and professional trades.

FEATURES:

• High economic efficiency thanks to long tool life and very high stock removal rate.
• Consistent surface finish thanks to high-quality abrasives.
• Highly flexible, enabling optimal adjustment to the contour.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE:

• Use a fibre disc in accordance with ISO 15636 with a backing pad on commercially available angle grinders.
• Use grinding oil that is suitable for the material in order to significantly increase the tool life and the abrasive performance of the tools.

SAFETY NOTES:

• The maximum permitted speed is 80m/s.
• For safety reasons, the maximum permitted rotational speed indicated must never be exceeded.

• Cast steel
• Copper
• Grey/nodular cast iron (GG/GJL, GGG/GJS)
• Hardened, heat-treated steels over 1.200 N/mm² (< 38 HRC).
• Steel materials with a hardness >54HRC
• Steels  up to 1200 N/mm² (< 38 HRC)
