Calguard Slat Saver Dross and Slag Reducing, Anti-Spatter Spray 5L Callington 1419/42

DESCRIPTION:

CalGuard Slat Saver is a water-based, non-aerosol, non-flammable agent designed to reduce the buildup of slag and dross on slats used in laser cutting beds and to reduce spatter that occurs on the underside of material in the cutting process. Slat Saver can be applied to steel and copper slats commonly used in cutting beds.

• Water-based, leaving no residue to interfere with further production processes such as galvanizing, welding, priming, or painting.
• Developed to reduce the buildup of slag and dross generated as part of the cutting process, making cutting bed cleaning quicker and easier, and reducing machine downtime.
• Reduces the occurrence of spatter on the underside of the material, reducing the time required for finishing the cut item.
• Equally suited to new or cleaned copper and steel slats, making Slat Saver ideal for almost any application.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

• Cutting bed slats: using a portable tank sprayer, liberally spray CalGuard Slat Saver to the surface of each slat. Hold the spray nozzle approximately 30cm from the surface, ensuring all areas of the slate are coated. Using a roller or brush, apply CalGuard Slat Saver to both vertical surfaces of the slat, ensuring all areas are coated.
• Material being cut: Apply CalGuard Slat Saver in the same manner as above to provide additional protection to the underside of the material. To remove CalGuard Slat Saver from the protected material after the cutting process, simply clean the surface with a suitable detergent or solvent cleaner.

DANGER:

Causes serious eye damage. Harmful to aquatic life. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing, eye protection, and face protection. Avoid release to the environment.

FIRST AID:

IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Immediately call a POISON CENTER/doctor/physician/first aider.

STORAGE:

Dispose of contents/container at an authorised hazardous or special waste collection point following any local regulations.
