Welding Procedure Specification (WPS)

A Welding Procedure Specification’s (WPS) are documents based on a particular welding process generally during fabrication. Each one is created based on the situation and must be made by a certified welding inspector.

They are important for quality assurance and legal purpose. A WPS ensures that welders know exactly how to weld leading to better quality and less faults.
